Research conducted by Harvard University reveals that 85% of job success comes from having well‐developed soft skills and people skills and only 15% of job success comes from technical and functional skills.

My leadership training workshops focus largely on the applied development of soft skills and people skills, in a safe environment. These workshops contain little management theory and lots of tips and tools. The participants will be working with the tips and tools in their context, or that of their unit/organization.

Participants will be required to do some reading and gather practical challenges to work through during the workshop. The practical problems can include stretch goals for their performance agreements.

At the end of each section, each participant will be required to list 2-3 practices from the section to apply to their goals to strengthen their suite of soft skills. To support the adoption of new skills and habits, each participant will receive two forty-five minute individual coaching sessions three and six weeks after the workshop.


The workshops start with an end in mind.


Each participant will be required to come prepared with one to four goals that relate to their performance agreements. During the workshop they will gather practical tips and leading practices that will help them change behaviour, and adopt a new practice to achieve that goal.

How do you resolve conflict in workplace?

Leaders get things done through others; they are charged with prioritizing tasks, developing growth strategies, and delegating responsibilities. The most effective leaders also know how to have the difficult conversations that help drive business objectives, guide individuals and teams toward greater productivity, and provide a motivating climate.

This program is designed to equip leaders with the skills necessary to have difficult yet productive conversations in order to accomplish goals and objectives.

Participants will: become familiar with different conflict styles and practice the art of crucial conversation to manage the conversation through role play. By focusing on safety in dialogue through role play, participants will understand the framework to building solutions and finding common ground for conflict resolution.

Build your brand from the inside out.

By working with an Executive Coach and a Certified Image Consultant, participants will learn to build a framework around their current strengths and talents, attitudes and attributes, then identify what they need to be for a more successful career and/or business. Participants will also understand their personal brand, identify any internal blocks to that brand and use them to their benefit, and frame it in terms of an internal foundation to expand it through personal expression.

Participants will also receive an overhaul from a Certified Image Consultant to develop an exterior brand that complements their interior brand.Build your brand from the inside out.
